Wicked Sticky Widgets

Hi, well I have to admit, I’m new to this blogging thing (obviously, right). But WordPress being pretty user friendly, as with most things I do I tested the water a bit then dove right in. Within an hour or two I was up and running and having lots of fun until I got to the wicked-sticky-widget part. So against my “I don’t need no stinking directions” mindset I clicked on the tutorials and walkthroughs and you know they really helped! So here I am…

I decided to start this blog at the request of friends to share my DIY home improvement projects. So I quickly uploaded photos of my many kitchen transformations with a short description of each pic and hit submit. Low and behold, I have a blog! Except my friend noted that while my photos were “ok” and my kitchen redoImages were “pretty good”, my “blogging” left a lot to be desired. Where are the tutorials she asked, the list of tools and materials, the dramatic before and after photos, the witty dialogue? Geez, I’m writing about how to paint your kitchen cabinets not a best-selling novel! “Obviously” she said.

Ok, so I promise to make my blog more well…bloggy. I swear that in future posts I will try my best to include how tos, where tos, and what fors. I hope that you will bear with me while I try to develop this blog but in the meantime…how cute is my cat!
