Weekly Photo Challenge “Focus”

instagram chair 3

This photo of my garden chair and roses has a greater depth of field allowing a sharper focus of the entire scene.

In this photo I used Instagram editing app to reduce the depth of field and bring sharper focus to the chair and roses.

Instagram photo of garden chair with roses. I have two nice cameras that in the past I used all of the time, an old SLR camera with large (heavy) telephoto lens and a newer digital camera. Now I have an iPhone 4 which takes great photos so I rarely use them. This is my first time using the Instagram app with editing to change focal points. I am now officially a fan of Instagram!

I marvel at people that understand todays technology. I struggle with my digital camera and my computer. The focus worked for these two photos.
