Weekly Photo Challenge: On The Way

On the Way to Key West…

Recently I drove to Key West with four friends for a “girls’ weekend”. I have never been to the Keys although I have lived in South Florida for the past twenty-six years. It was definitely on my “bucket list”. On the way down we stopped at Robbie’s in Islamorada. My friend had been there before and as we are both nature lovers she knew I would enjoy feeding the Tarpon at Robbie’s. It did not disappoint! The fish were huge and the pelicans quite aggressive, definitely a fun way to be introduced to the Keys. It was a great side trip on the way to Key West!
